On January 26th of this year the membership took the first step in changing the church’s name. Our new name is Living Hope Church. We continue as a member church in the Evangelical Free Church of America. While the legal process is ongoing, please continue to make offering checks out to Evangelical Free Church.
Hi All,
I trust you have been encouraged by watching the stream the last two Sundays of worship songs and sermons. We will keep it up as long as necessary until we are once again permitted to gather in person.
This Sunday is Palm Sunday and is our regular communion Sunday. I would like for us to celebrate communion with each other during our distance worship. What I mean is that we each will find the elements of the communion from our own pantry: the bread and the juice. And then near the end of my sermon I will lead us in partaking of the communion and Eric will lead us with a song of worship. If you are concerned that you do not have matzo bread and kosher grape juice, don’t be. The Lord is more concerned with our heart attitude than our ritual precision. So just use what you have. I know of one gathering of Believers that only had Doritos and Dr. Pepper.
May God richly bless you and yours,
Pastor Bill
